Hello! My name is Daniel Ross and I am an RMT, originally from Enderby British Columbia. I am a recent graduate from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon BC. I am here in Airdrie to enjoy being around my family again as well as enjoying all the things southern Alberta has to offer. I am an avid fly fisherman and I frequent the beautiful Bow River during the summer. As well as fishing I also enjoy hiking trips and camping. During the winter I love to go skiing and snowboarding so I am looking forward to visiting the mountains in the Banff area.
I treat using osteopathic theory. What that means is that I believe the body is and functions as a whole unit as opposed to a sum of different parts. Treatment based on this theory includes muscle energy, myofascial release and visceral massage. The techniques are very light and should never cause any form of pain. These techniques rely on the body’s natural ability to heal instead of trying
to force a form of tissue behavior. Assessment is also a major factor of my treatments as a believe that the more I know about my patient’s condition the better I am able to provide them with the most effective treatment possible.I am looking forward to working with you and helping you achieve an active and pain-free life.
